Hannah
Hi, I’m Hannah, the founder of Helpful Hands Central. I started this business with a simple goal: to make life easier for families, students, and busy people who just need an extra set of hands they can rely on. I have years of experience in childcare, nannying, tutoring, house sitting, pet care, and general home support, and I genuinely love helping people feel more organised, supported, and at ease in their day-to-day lives.
I’m a graduate of Diocesan School for Girls, where I completed NCEA before moving on to the University of Auckland. I’ve just finished my first year of study, and through both school and university I’ve balanced academic commitments with hands-on work and community involvement. I also hold my full driver’s licence, which means I’m able to offer transport, pickups, drop-offs, and extra flexibility for families when needed. Additionally I have completed a first aid course so I am now first aid qualified .
I’m passionate about creating a service that feels personal, safe, and genuinely helpful. I know how important it is to trust the person coming into your home or caring for the people and pets you love most — which is why I hold myself and my team to the highest standards of reliability, communication, and professionalism. I’m warm, friendly, and easy to talk to, but also organised, proactive, and committed to making sure every client feels listened to and well looked after.
Whether I’m walking dogs, supporting families, tutoring children, or coordinating our team, I truly care about the people I work with and the impact we make. Helpful Hands Central is built on kindness, respect, and community — and I’m so proud to offer a service that reflects those values every day.
