Meg
Hi, I’m Meg. I’m currently in my final year studying a Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the University of Otago. I’ve been working with children since I was 14, including five years as a swim instructor, which has helped me build strong skills in communication, patience, and creating a fun, safe environment. Alongside this, I’ve gained experience through teacher aiding at primary schools, babysitting for family friends and casual tutoring over the years.
I offer tutoring up to NCEA Level 3 in Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Calculus, and Statistics, and I enjoy helping students build confidence and understanding in their learning. I’m organised, reliable, and a good communicator.
Outside of study and work, I love staying active whether that’s at the gym, running, or swimming and I also enjoy baking in my spare time. I’m very comfortable around animals, with two cats of my own and regular experience walking my brother’s energetic Labrador.
I hold a full driver’s licence and a current First Aid Certificate, and I’m happy to support a wide range of services including childcare, tutoring, pet care, and home help. I pride myself on being approachable, energetic, and dependable, and I always aim to create a positive and supportive experience for every family I work with.
